For those searching for works of German and Austrian Expressionism, Art Nouveau, and Bauhaus design, the Neue Galerie New York presents a world-class collection. The most famous work at the Neue Galerie is almost certainly Gustav Klimt’s Adele Bloch-Bauer; several other works by the Austrian artist are also displayed.

Besides seeing the artwork, visitors should also taste the Austrian delicacies at the museum’s two cafés as well. The menus of Café Sabarsky and Café Fledermaus are the same, but Café Sabarsky includes weekly cabaret music concerts as well. Tickets for the cabaret are sold separately from museum admission.
