YARAT Contemporary Art Center in Barat, Azerbaijan, is an art venue for contemporary Azerbaijani artists and those from nearby Central Asian countries. Since its opening in 2011, YARAT has hosted art exhibitions, film screenings, lectures, and other cultural events. An artist residency program and other workshops and events designed to promote young artists are also routinely featured as well.
