The Garage Museum of Contemporary Art is home to a collection of Russian contemporary artwork from both the Soviet Union and post-Soviet era. Located in Gorky Park, the museum includes a variety of works within its archives including paintings, drawings, and magazines.

Although it was founded in 2008, the museum did not have a permanent home for its collection in 2015. Noted Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas renovated and expanded the aging Soviet-era Vremena Goda restaurant building into the shape of a modernist museum. This change of architectural form within Gorky Park is meant to illustrate the social and artistic changes with Russia from the Soviet Union to the present day Russian Federation.
