The Museo La Congiunta is a small art museum located in the southern Swiss town of Giornico. While Giornico is a small rural town with a population estimated to be less than 1000, it includes several museums and historic sites within it. Built in 1992 by architect Peter Märkli, the Museum La Congiunta is an example of Brutalist design with its stark concrete exterior; inside the museum’s walls are several stone sculptures.
