Denmark’s Ordrupgaard Museum is dedicated to the art collection of its founder Wilhelm Hansen. The collection has two branches of 19th and early 20th century artwork: French and Danish. Hansen’s French collection includes paintings by numerous world famous artists, such as Monet, Renoir, and Delacroix; the art collector’s Danish acquisitions include works from the Danish Golden Age of approximately 1800 to 1850.

Besides examining the interior painting collection, visitors can wander through Ordrupgaard’s gardens and sculpture collection outside.
