Łódź Open-Air Museum of Wooden Architecture is a part of the Central Museum of Textiles. Both museums focus on what once was the pride of the city's history: the textile industry and industrial architecture. While the central building has been opened since 1955 in the White Factory, the Open-Air Museum is quite a fresh initiative. Despite the idea occurring nearly half century ago, the construction only finished in May 2008.

Apart from the classical tour around the exhibitions, Łódź Open-Air Museum also offers a wide range of different activities such as workshops and concerts. The space is also possible to rent for wedding ceremonies, commercial events, and film projects.
