The Zoological Museum of Moscow University is an interesting spot to visit for children and adults interested in zoology. Founded in 1791, the museum not only includes taxidermy and live animals, but also animal artwork and photographs of the museum’s scientists at work.

If you have children, then you might want to plan your visit for Saturday or Sunday. One of the museum’s highlights, the Scientific Terrarium, lets children see live reptiles and hear about them from their keepers; however, this section is only open on weekends.
