Palais de Tokyo, named for the street previously called Avenue de Tokio (now called Avenue de New-York), is a popular contemporary art museum in Paris. The museum is housed inside former building of the International Exhibition of Arts and Technology of 1937; Musee de l'art Moderne de la ville de Paris shares this location with Palais de Tokyo. The terrace of the these museums is noted for its excellent view of the Eiffel Tower. The museum includes rotating art exhibitions throughout the year along with art workshops for children and teenagers.
